School Bus Account Representative 

FLSA: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Hourly
Schedule: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm, with 1 hour unpaid lunch (some night/weekends required for special events)
Supervised by: School Bus Operations Manager

Overview of Position: 
School Bus Account Representatives primary focus is to help customers plan, develop travel itineraries, book trips, and/or other related details all while providing outstanding customer service.


Job Responsibilities Included But Not Limited To:
  • Pricing and Booking Charters, assuring that all info received timely (signed contracts are received, itineraries/deposits/final payments received, contact day of phone number on all night/weekend trips)
  • Answers telephone inquiries and two-way radio as needed
  • Maintain and build customer base
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Work effectively with dispatch by communicating changes and resolutions to problems or potential problems.
  • Assist with driving routes/trips as needed.
  • Performing administrative work such as filing and computer entry.
  • Outside sales visits.  Attend conventions or meetings as needed
  • Other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • A minimum of five years sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication (interpersonal, oral and written) in order to give instructions clearly, and ability to work well with others
  • Due to large number of calls, must stay organized and prioritize the order of calls.
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally in coordination with other people.
  • Current Commercial Driver’s License “B” with P&S Endorsement, or obtain within 90 days of hire:  May serve as back-up driver. 
  • Good personal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, and adhere to Miller Drug/Alcohol Policy.
