SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday, 8am – 5pm (1 hour unpaid lunch) SUPERVISED BY: School Bus Operations Manager FLSA: Full-Time, Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Overview of Position: The School Bus Office Support will help customers plan, develop travel itineraries, and book trips and/or other related details. They will also assist and coordinate with the work of School Bus Operations Manager.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Assist school bus operations manager in tasks, including but not limited to answering calls, pricing field trips (telephone and/or online), booking field trips, and processing credit card payments.
Assuring that all info received for future trips (signed contracts are received, itineraries/deposits/final payments received, contact day of phone number on all night/weekend trips)
Communicate with dispatch on availability for charters and drivers and ensure they are aware of upcoming events
Assist dispatcher in preparing paperwork and notifying drivers.
Assist with drive route/ field trips as needed
Performing administrative work such as filing and typing.
Other duties as required.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
A minimum of two years experience preferred.
Ability to use a personal computer.
Good communicational and written skills.
Ability to work in coordination with other people.
Good personal and conflict resolution skills.
Knowledge of Miller values and business solutions.
